When you thought you've seen it all, a new speaker system arrives and amazes you like a powerful jet engine. Similar to Sonus Faber's recently revealed Suprema collection, Ferguson Hill introduces the Jetstream speaker system, and it's not just impressive but comes with a stratospheric price tag – a whopping £105,200 for the entire package!

Ferguson Hill expresses a desire to create the "ultimate sound system," a claim we often hear, but the Jetstream genuinely stands out, capturing attention both in images and specifications. The Jetstream Loudspeaker System includes a pair of Jetstream Horn Loudspeakers, a pair of Jetstream Bass Speakers, and a Jetstream Bass Amplifier. It has undergone a complete overhaul, featuring bespoke drive units, enhanced driver designs, and luxurious high-end materials.

Tim Hill, the founder and designer of Ferguson Hill, states, "I have incorporated all the changes I have wanted to do since the launch of the FH001 twenty years ago."

At the heart of the package are the two Jetstream Horn Loudspeakers, equipped with full-range drive units and a Neodymium motor. The speaker boasts a "smooth, stable soundwave" thanks to metal ring supports and an acrylic horn design. Specially crafted dampening structures aim to minimize unwanted vibrations within the speaker cabinet. The complex shape of the distinctive horns allows sound waves to propagate freely and expand evenly, ensuring minimal distortion and maximum clarity. Each speaker weighs 32kg.

The Jetstream bass speakers contribute the low-end power, featuring a pair of 600mm acrylic spheres with 300mm neodymium drive units. Accompanying them is the Jetstream Bass Amplifier, a stereo amp providing 200 watts per channel, totaling 400 watts. The Class D amplifier, with its aluminum block construction and a low pass filter matching the bass speakers' output, helps the system come together as a unified, high-performance package.

The result is one of the most visually striking systems we've ever encountered. However, whether you have the budget, space, or the right domestic aesthetic for such an extravagant hi-fi set-up is an entirely different matter.

For those with deep pockets (or those who simply dream of owning such a system), here's the breakdown of the costs for the Jetstream System:

  • Ferguson Hill Jetstream System: £105,200 / $133,440 / AU$202,380
  • Ferguson Hill Jetstream Horn Speaker: £72,955 / $92,540 / AU$140,350 per pair
  • Ferguson Hill Jetstream Bass Speaker: £22,295 / $28,280 / AU$42,890 per pair
  • Ferguson Hill Jetstream Bass Amplifier: £9950 / $12,620 / AU$19,140

The Jetstream System is available now for those looking to indulge in the world of top-tier audio experiences.
